GW, it’s happening…
Today, College Republican members had the great opportunity of attending the filming of Anderson Cooper’s 360 “Guns on Fire” Town Hall Debate at the Jack Morton Auditorium right here on campus. Although the conversation frequently veered left, our members were there, and sometimes the only ones clapping, in support of the gun rights activists featured on Cooper’s panel: Gayle Trotter and Sandy Froman.
However, meeting Anderson Cooper following the taping of the program, and later seeing their floating heads on the CNN nightly broadcast, were certainly two of the major highlights of the day for our CR members.
And if you think their 3 seconds of fame is worthy enough for an autograph, please stop by the College Republican office located in Marvin 427, where signing up to be a member can grant you access to exciting political events like the one experienced today!
